Headache affects more than 45 million people in this country, and it is one of the most common reasons for a visit to the doctor. What seems to be “just a headache” is actually a complex process that occurs in the nervous system. The most common form of headache treated at Headache Care Center is migraine. In our experience, proper diagnosis is the key to successful treatment. There are more than 100 different types of headaches described in the International Headache Society’s The International Classification of Headache Disorders, the “official” classification list.
